BingoHoster is built to know as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no advertising trackers on the game. This page explains, in plain English, exactly what data exists when you play and where it lives.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for your name, email address, date of birth or payment details, because the game does not need them. There is no login, so there is no password database. We do not sell data to anyone, and there are no third-party advertising cookies on the game pages.

What stays on your own device

Your game settings (theme, voice, speed, number of cards), your ticket marks and your progress in a game are saved in your browser's local storage, on your device only. They never reach our servers. Clearing your browser data removes them completely.

What travels over the internet during an online game

When you host or join a private online game, the numbers called, the game title, the theme, your chosen display name and your card progress are relayed between players over a public real-time messaging service, so every phone in the room stays in sync. Treat the display name like something said aloud at a bingo night: use a first name or a nickname, not personal details. Room codes are random, expire after roughly six hours, and player presence in a lobby fades after a few minutes of silence.

Hosting and basic logs

The site is served by our hosting provider (Vercel), which keeps standard, short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses and requested pages) to run and protect the service, as almost every website's host does. We do not build profiles from these.

Analytics, only if you say yes

We ask before measuring anything. If you tap "That's fine" on the small cookie note, Google Analytics counts your visit, the pages you open and how long you play, which shows us what to improve. It stays switched off until you agree, saying no changes nothing about the game, and the data is never used for advertising. Clearing your browser data resets the choice.

Children

BingoHoster is a family game with no chat rooms, no purchases and no accounts. Because nothing personal is collected, there is nothing for a child to hand over. We still recommend an adult sets up online rooms and shares the invite link.
